Established in 2019, Alokhya Leisure embarked on a journey to provide cozy and affordable accommodation to tourists visiting Colombo. However, the year 2020 presented an unprecedented challenge for everyone worldwide with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our business, like many others in the travel industry, suffered greatly during this time. Compounded by the subsequent economic crisis in Sri Lanka, we faced significant setbacks.

 

But adversity only strengthened our determination. In 2023, Alokhya rose from the ashes and proudly relaunched its travel arm, Alokhya Tailormade. Today, we operate as an emerging inbound Destination Management Company (DMC), dedicated to providing personalized and authentic holidays and experiences to discerning travelers.
